Bryant Ottaviano founded Pivot Lending Group in October 2002 with a clear desire to create a better mortgage company — one that knows how important every borrower is. For more than 30 years, Bryant has been putting his theory to test, and as a result he has developed a loyal customer base that rivals those of some of the largest financial institutions. Today, Pivot Lending Group services more than $500 million in loans every month. Whether working with credit unions, banks, developers, realtors or homeowners, Bryant’s main objective is to ensure the right product at a competitive price.
Bryant enjoys being outnumbered by his three lady loves: wife Ashley and twin daughters, Elodie and Finley. The girls love watching their dad compete at recreational softball. Bryant also spends time with his drums, which he has been playing since age 11. He is a member of the band North Side Tragedy, a tribute to the World Champion Chicago Cubs Baseball Club.
Before coming to Pivot, John Faries was the President & CEO of Columbine Federal Credit Union, a $64 million credit union located in Centennial, Colorado. His credit union career also includes work as the CFO/SVP of Finance for Aventa Credit Union and the Vice President of Finance & Business Development at Space Age Federal Credit Union. John is an ALM expert and has over 20 years of experience managing credit union balance sheets.
John earned his B.A. and Masters in Accountancy from the University of Missouri, is a certified public accountant, and holds his Series 65 (registered investment advisor) license. When he’s not at the office, you’ll find John at the softball field watching his high school daughter in the pitcher’s circle.
David Olson has worked in the mortgage industry for nearly 30 years. During this time, David owned two mortgage banking companies, and created a mortgage division for a large Credit Union in Nebraska.
In addition to his professional experience, David graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Mortgage Banking School I and II, and served as the past President of the Nebraska Mortgage Association. David also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Missouri State University, in Springfield MO.
As the Chief Business Development Officer, David has Pivot Lending Group grow from a regional mortgage banking company to a national lender offering retail, wholesale, correspondent, and sub- servicing. David has been a part of the team that helped transform MemberClose, a consumer equity lending platform, into the nation’s first online financial services superstore.
Currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA), Melissa Pomeroy works with credit unions, associations, partners, and vendors to establish relationships enabling credit unions to meet their goals and adapt to an evolving market.
Prior to joining the CCUA, Melissa managed a team of project managers and data analysts at St. Mary’s Bank, the Nation’s First Credit Union. Before entering the credit union industry, Melissa spent many years leading business and technology teams in the healthcare industry, as well as consulting in both the public and private sectors.
Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College, and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the George Washington University. She lives in New Hampshire with her family, and enjoys cooking, skiing, and hiking. Most of all, she loves coaching her son’s Cal Ripken baseball team.
Bryce Jackson, Chief Operating Officer, for MemberClose, LLC has been helping credit unions save on the time it takes and money it costs to process mortgage loans since 2016. For more than 21 years he has been working to help credit unions grow and their members to improve their financial lives. Bryce’s main objective is to educate credit union partners to implement beneficial real estate loan solutions.
When Bryce isn’t helping credit unions he enjoys being a dad to: daughter Stella, and twin sons Oliver and Ben. Bryce likes to spend time at his kid’s activities, surfing in RI, skiing, and playing golf.
Rachelle Wegner currently leads the MemberClose charge throughout the Midwest as the Business Development Manager at Pivot Lending Group.
For nearly 20 years, Rachelle has worked with indirect lenders and credit unions. Prior to joining Pivot, Rachelle was the Dealer Client Experience Manager at CU Direct for NE and IA, providing lending solutions and technology to dealerships and credit unions. Before her time at CU Direct, Rachelle managed major dealer groups in Colorado with CUDC, and served as Nation Sales Support Manager.
Rachelle was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and currently resides in Omaha, NE with her husband, children, and many loved pets. When not working with credit unions, Rachelle enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and listening to music.
